Join BBBS for a refreshing experience focused on fresh air, movement, and connection. Meet local police officers and their horses, then enjoy hands-on Masterson Method bodywork activities with Sara to explore how horses naturally stay balanced, grounded, and relaxed.

You'll learn simple, practical techniques you can take home and use every day. Weather permitting, we'll head outside to practice movements alongside the police horses for a truly unforgettable experience! Dinner provided. This event is for Littles of all ages. There is a wavier for Bigs & Littles that will need to be signed.

We are looking for matches to volunteer at our 30th Annual Big Brothers Big Sisters NFL Alumni Golf Classic on Monday, August 10! This premier fundraising event brings together business and community members to golf alongside NFL Alumni celebrities in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back together while representing our program and connecting with event participants. As a thank-you, each match who volunteers will receive a $20 gas card to help with travel expenses.

Responsibilities

• Assist a BBBS staff member at a designated hole

• Welcome golfers and help serve lunch

• Support event activities, including promoting the Support a Match campaign and assisting with raffle ticket sales

Join Big Brothers Big Sisters and All Hands Boatworks for a special evening on the Menomonee River as we celebrate the second year of our BBBS boat, a full-size wooden rowboat built by 19 BBBS Matches! Come honor the teamwork, dedication, and hard work that brought this incredible project to life. Then, hop on the water and enjoy paddling the BBBS boat and other available boats as we explore the river together on a beautiful summer evening.

Whether you're taking a turn on the water, cheering on fellow paddlers, or simply enjoying the evening, this is a great opportunity to connect, celebrate, and make more memories with the BBBS community. Dinner provided. This event is for Littles of all ages.

Join BBBS as we celebrate an annual event and more than 30 years of partnership with the South Shore Yacht Club! Matches will learn boating safety, nautical terms, how to navigate on the water, and how to use a compass to find directions. Before setting sail, Beach Ambassadors will lead fun, hands-on activities for everyone to enjoy.

Then it’s time to set sail! Captains and crew members will take matches on a sailboat or powerboat adventure across beautiful Lake Michigan. After returning to shore, everyone will enjoy a complimentary cookout, giveaways, and a special recognition celebration.📸 Please note: A photographer will be onsite capturing photos for BBBS marketing and recruitment materials throughout the year.

Celebrate the launch of Layups & Literacy 2.0 with an evening packed with fun, learning, and teamwork. Enjoy dinner with Bigs and Littles, participate in engaging literacy activities that bring stories to life, and then head to the court for basketball drills, skills, and, friendly competitions. This special event is designed to strengthen mentor relationships, encourage reading, and create memorable experiences both on and off the court. Special Guest on deck!
