PROGRAM SPECIAL EVENTS INTERN
Minimum: 10 hours/week
Schedule: Flexible based on student’s schedule, office hours M – F between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Must be able to work at Big Brothers Big Sisters office, 788 N. Jefferson Street, Suite 600, Milwaukee. We are on a bus line. There may be some flexibility for remote work may be available, but on a limited and prearranged basis
Some prearranged evening hours will be required based on events
Reports to: Program Event Coordinator
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
Competent with Office 365
Positive attitude, flexible and able to think on your feet.
Works well independently as well as within a team.
Dependable and reliable with work schedule and project due dates.
- Program administration, program record-keeping, event planning and implementation positive youth development and relationship-building activities, and group facilitation.
- Provide administrative support including ticket distribution, coordinating mailings, and managing online registration lists.
- Assist with the creation of REACH educational/support materials and resources for program participants.
- Assist with picking up gift in kind donations as needed.
Events; 15%Assist with evening and weekend REACH events.
Provide customer service to all participates
Registration, food service, give-aways, etc.
Additional project and administrative duties as assigned; 5%
